Just saw this fantastic hilarious Aussie play about the bullshit wellness industry. Probably didn’t go as dark as it may have, but it was laugh out loud comedy. Cast was awesome despite Micala Banas being ill. So amazing to see Madeleine Sami and the others were on top form too. Audience had a ball

Headliner tonight @locallaughs.bsky.social was Frank Woodley giving us a big set that felt like an entire show. A long funny build up that had me crying with laughter at the main story, then more silly songs to bring it home. Happiest I've felt in weeks. (I've been moving house & it's not been fun)

I can't tell you how heartbroken I am about Sam Neil leaving us too soon. I was in his presence only a few months ago in Auckland seeing the Hunt for the Wilderpeople 10th anniversary. I'm glad he was treasured that night. He was so bloody adorable and weepy, as I am now. 💔

Had the almighty pleasure of experiencing Suzy Eddie Izzard's one person Hamlet tonight. Her sibling Mark adapted the play to 1/2 it's length & it was like a band playing its greatest hits. Suzy was brilliant at bringing the words to life. I love Hamlet like an old friend though. And Suzy. Perfect.

So, I'm enjoying the #Tonys as ever and remembering my only trip to New York which happened when #TheTonyAwards were on and we went to the red carpet and I saw wuite a few famous people & managed to take a pic of Anna Wintour. We managed to rush back to our hotel room in time to watch the show!

In 2015 I was in New York when David Letterman did his last show. I got to see stuff being chucked into dumpsters out the side of the building. Hello Deli was sadly shut when we went there as it was the Memorial Day weekend. I've watched the Late Show since it started showing in Australia in 1993.

The side of the Ed Sullivan Theatre where the Hello Deli was just off Broadway in 2015. There is a long Advert for the Late Show With David Letterman's face and one up the top for book of Morman at the Eugene O'Neil Theatre. We did see Book of Morman while there too.

We saw the Hail Mary Project today and it's 5 Stars from me. Funny, sad, heartwarming, gorgeous film. It celebrates puppetry and science, humanity, kindness and friendship. Ryan Gosling's best performance. Glad I saw it on the big screen. Go and see it!

My best friend just told me that Piracy only got its own Dewey Decimal System number last year! It is 364.1646. And they gave Pirate's Expeditions 910.454 Arrrgghhh!

One thing I'm loving is that almost all of the comedians I've seen so far have paid tribute to Cal Wilson, even by just mentioning her name. Rove got a big reaction from the audience tonight when showing a picture of Cal from her first apearance. It's lovely and we all miss her together.💗
