Panel 3: we now see what raphael was looking at. byleth stands with their arms crossed, a neutrality-pleased expression on their face. ignatz stands next to them, hunched on himself and holding his hands nervously in front of his stomach. he looks at raphael with a sad expression, as raphael, off-camera, says "now, let's head back! i wonder what those merchants are sending... i hope it's food!"

(2019) Jeralt's diary is mostly full of stories about Byleth, and then just paragraphs gushing over how much he loves his kid and how proud he is of them, sorry I dont make the rules #fe3h

Panel 3: we see Byleth's face, looking tired and miserable. text says "all the memories he describes are just a blur to me. an entire lifetime... gone."
behind them, sothis wrings her hands and looks at them, worried.
Panel 4: sothis, still worried, brings a hand to her face, thinking. "hmmm" she says
Panel 5: sothis says "you may not remember them on your own, but... perhaps..."
Panl 6: Byleth sits at their desk, the diary on the table. They look back at sothis, surprised. Sothis extends her hand to them, encouraging. "i can't guarantee it'll work" she says "but perhaps i might be able to help"

Panel 15 uses the whole page. On the center, Byleth and sothis are still sitting on top of the bed. sothis has her eyes closed in concentration, but Byleth's eyes are open and unseeing, their mouth hanging open. Around them, a series of panels show different moments of Byleth and Jeralt's relationship through the years.
Jeralt tucking byleth in to sleep. Jeralt congratulating them on their progress with the sword. Adminishing them for being too careless in battle whilr bandagong their arm. Fishing together. Carrying a small Byleth on his shoulders as they chat.
Byleth tries to take a cat home with them but Jeralt refuses. Jeralt laughs as Byleth shovels food into their mouth. Jeralt writes on his diary as Byleth sleeps leaning against him, tucked under his arm. Jeralt teaching Byleth how to ride a horse, sitting behind them.
A pre-teen byleth asking Jeralt to use neutral pronouns for them and jeralt accepting easily. Jeralt bringing byleth a campfire teapot. jeralt combing Byleth's hair as they fall asleep from the genlte motions. heralt hugging byleth to his chest and letting them listen to his heartbeat.

Panel 16: sothis relaxes, exhausted. "There they are!" she says with a smile. "not gone, just buried. you have some truly wonderful memories, byleth"
Panel 17: small sniffs and sobs sound from out of frame. sothis looks up, concerned. "ah? byleth?" she asks
Panel 18: Byleth's shoulders shake as they cry, their head bent low to hide their face. "thank you..." they say out loud between sobs.
Panel 19: Byleth hugs their legs and buries their face on their knees as they cry. Sothis floats next to them, trying to hold them.
"thank you, sothis" says byleth.

Panel 3: we see what felix was looking at: It's dimitri, idly spooning some of the ice cream, his gaze lost. someone off-camera is trying to have a conversation with him but he's not listening. his spoon is bent on his hand.
Below him we see a memory. felix and dimitri as young kids, also sitting at a table. young dimitri eagerly finishes up his ice cream. young felix looks at him with a smile and says "they just brought dessert and you already finished it"
"it's just so good!" says dimitri
young felix pushes his own cup towards dimitri and says "here, you can have mine too"
dimitri replies "ah! felix you're the best!!"

Panel 3: the person off-screen finally catches dimitri's attention, and he turns to them with a stiff, forced smile
Below him we see another scene of young felix and dimitri. they're now sitting in front of plates with a meal. young dimitri has the same forced, stiff smile on his face, and his fork is bent on his hand where he's holding it.
young felix turns towards him and says "i thought you hated this stuff"
"i do." says young dimitri. "father says i have to be polite and smile even if i dont like the food."
"is that why you've been forcing a smile the whole time? it looks weird" says felix, and then points out "you bent your fork again"
"yeah..." replies young dimitri

Panel 4: Dimitri senses that someone is watching him
Panel 5: Dimitri turns towards felix, a surprised look on his face. "felix?" he asks.
Panel 6: Another memory. A high contrast shot of dimitri, a couple years younger. He's colored solid red in a completely black scene. A manic expression contorts his face into a terrifying grin. his one visible eye is opened wide, and there's sweat running down his face.
Panel 7: A horrified felix stares at dimitri, shocked and scared.
Panel 8: Felix lowers his gaze, in a pained, angry expression, avoiding eye contact

Panel 3: Sothis holds her skirts and does a little dance, smiling and saying "if i had a body of my own i would sing and dance until i fell upon the ground!!"
byleth stays a few steps back and leans against a wall, with a fond look and a little laugh

Panel 4: sothis puts her hands on her hips and looks over her shoulder towards byleth, disappointed. she says "but you... hmph. do as you will"
byleth closes their eyes and raises their hands in an "i dont care" gesture

Ashe is startled and turns red, making an "Ack!" noise
Panel 3: Ashe quickly starts mashing the dough in front of him, trying to hide his face as he yells "n-no! nothing at all!". dedue looks down at ashe's work, surprised

The second panel reveals the person speaking was Jeralt. He's smiling and holding up a black cape. he continues saying 'since your old one was basically destroyed in the last fight'

The comic continues. The panel on the left shows Byleth wearing the cape, the sleeves are too long and go down way past their hands. Jeralt looks at them considering. He says 'Hmmm... we'll have to cut the sleeves'
The next panel shows Byleth looking up, alert. They had an idea.

2 more panels. Both are black boxes, with a white swhoosh in the middle and the words 'cut' 'whoosh' , as if the cutting was happening off camera

The last panel of the comic. Byleth looks happy and proud at the way they've cut the sleeves- vertically all the way from the edge of the cuff to the shoulders. Jeralt grins, amused behind them, and says 'not exactly what i had in mind, but if you like it...'
