In my geometric #optics sim in #Desmos, I've added an easy toggle between the principal image-forming rays and a set of parallel incident rays to allow easy illustration of what the focal point "is". #ITeachPhysics Also I made them be pretty rainbow colors. Happy Pride month!

To my reading, "gender identity issues" are the only specific thing it mentions in its otherwise broad questions about the accuracy and effectiveness of the existing voluntary TV ratings system and the industry panel (TVOMB) which runs it. Try to *directly address the notice* in your comments.
In the article's last section it quotes another scientist (not from the team) as shown here. None of the people who study this seem to think gravity itself is the reason for the differences. Instead they think there are things going on with their own equipment that they haven't fully figured out.
A fun detail: to help eliminate bias on the part of the researchers, they had a colleague alter some of the masses in their torsion balance and keep the details in a secret envelope. Schlamminger opened it on-stage while presenting their results at a conference.

Here's my lecture notes' physical pendulum, made by joining several ellipses together into one object. It occurs to me the density must be highly nonuniform to get the center of mass so far down there, but I guess that's fine since it's arbitrary anyway. :)
Here is what I put into the "help docs improve" feedback tool. Simply placing the cursor on a word (or being in the middle of moving through it) should not trigger a distracting box that obscures your document and interrupts visual continuity. Especially such a STUPID box.
Google Docs now shows an enormous tooltip any time you put your cursor in a word that was flagged by the spellchecker. There are many interactable elements in this box but none of them are "I know how spellcheck works, please don't show this again." I love sending Google feedback though, so...

I prefer to say that a vector is a quantity that, to specify it fully, needs a number of values equal to the number of dimensions you're working in. There are many different styles you can do it in, but you'll need (at least) that many values. In fact... ha, found this graphic I made awhile back:
In my graph you can also turn on shading to show the energetically-permitted final states. (Assuming no hidden energy is released and you aren't lowering the KE below a stick-together value.) My students often use a constant-KE method even without knowing if the collision is elastic. #ITeachPhysics

This example is absurdly contrived. This is not something that requires a specialized program and definitely doesn't call for anodyne, mass-produced text (with errors) to be spewed at reps. You need simple "please support/don't" calls and authentic human pleas, not robots.
This graph now has "ground" lines drawn in that scroll by according to your reference frame velocity, helping to visually communicate the motion of the wheel. I improved the interface a little bit as well. Same link as in original post: www.desmos.com/calculator/f...
