To spell it out, the piece is arguing that, given his stated position on Gaza (see Xeet from Jan), the protestors must believe he is lying about his position and actions, leaning on antisemitic tropes about deceitful Jews.
This is an excellent policy roadmap, especially at the Federal and State levels. Cities should get ahead of the ball as much as they can w/in their limited levers control (mostly land use reforms and tenant protections) and press State and Federal reps to get it together!

#A2Council I must admit it is pretty funny seeing a former Council candidate who spent thousands of dollars to send a mailer implying I endorsed her campaign (I did not) in 2020 accusing another candidate of claiming to be "buddies" with a mayoral candidate, with absolutely zero evidence.
This is a real problem made worse by the fact that Michigan has far too many municipalities. Most townships and some small towns/cities should be annexed by larger cities or absorbed back into their County. www.mlive.com/news/ann-arb...

I have heard on the authority from someone who knows "works in this space" that, in fact Council is run by a machine that keeps everyone in line.
