Darkly inclined. An anomaly. She/Her. Woke AF. Always show me your pet photos. Cover photo
Went out. Saw a thing, and bought a thing. I’ll let you guess which is which (pics in next post)
122 The Impossible Fortune by Richard Osman Re Joyce being my vibe: she also loves spending time on Rightmove, and can make IKEA a day out. I love her
121 The Last Devil To Die by Richard Osman There’s a bit in here that makes me cry every time. It’s a beautiful piece of writing
His other home messaged to say he’s been there for the last three days, and just left. He turned up here five minutes later 😂
120 The Women Of Wild Hill by Kirsten Miller I enjoyed nearly all of this; amazing women in different time periods, all building toward a huge event… and then meh. The event was a bit of a letdown. Overall a good read though
119 The Bullet That Missed by Richard Osman Dog in the book! Dog in the book! Just as fun and twisty as the others.
118 The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman I want to spend a day with Joyce. She is absolutely my vibe. Mosey round some shops, go to a nice cafe and people watch, go home and watch a Taggart. Bliss
The NextDoor person has seen him in posts going back to Feb ‘24!! 😭 If I can get him scanned and be certain he’s chipless, which seems likely, we’re gonna take him in. We don’t mind if he comes and goes like now, but he deserves someone to look after him and make sure he’s okay
117 The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman Cozy crime for the win. Sweet, warm, very funny. I can reread this over and over and not get bored. Highly recommend
116 The Golden Tower by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare Last in the series, and literal life and death stuff. Did I mention there’s a pet wolf?
115 Winter by Marissa Meyer Conclusion of The Lunar Chronicles, and a wild ride. Mum really enjoyed them, and how cleverly the author adapted the fairy tales we know
