I bought this amazing obi two days ago in Asakusa. There are 2 or 3 used shops in the main area that are actually good and well priced. I even convinced them to take 1500 yen odd the price. 😇
Summer is so much fun with Bon Odori! If you’re going to sweat, you might as well sweat having fun!
On Monday we had 3 shows. So I had to do the composer’s hair three times during the show. Each time was different. This was for the final show.
Yesterday I did live ikebana to a musical performance. Making a large piece and hair pieces. It was a lot of fun! It really hit home the importance of connecting, community, and working and supporting each other
The start of a new branch of my company. Also after August 3rd I will finally be able to release the music video that was finished in November!
A friend who is a huge sumo fan had this tanmono made for one of his favorite Sumo wrestlers. He gave me one as well!

Saturday Workout . Paying the price before the Saturday night sins.
Our neighbourhood summer festival was today. I was in charge of making the shaved Ice! Last year they sold 235 kakigori before they ran out of ice. This year we sold 410 before we run out of ice... That means they are always going to make me do kakigori forever….
My job at the local matsuri has changed to making Kakigori. So I’ve ordered this tenugui to use as a bandana 😁
Walked by a neighbour on the way home, apparently I’ve been promoted and I’m now serving beer at our local summer festival 🤣
