Art and Nature feed my soul. Photos and art are my own (unless mentioned or ones of grandson by my son) with ALT descriptions. London Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 with pixies #LdnOnt #BB too
I live an unexciting life (my preference) but while walking around a festival at the back where there is plenty of food I have never seen and in low lighting I told my DIL I felt like Anthony Bourdain
The sun blurred in between trees. The sun was actually a clearly defined red ball in the sky. The photo somehow shows the sky darker and the sun more yellow.
The air quality warning and a heat warning with the air quality you can almost taste the air. It’s due to the fires on the other side of the province and it’s kind of got a light orange haze, and it’s hot.
Henry inside a tent with florescent things all over it inside. He had his ‘magic’ thumbs on. The man that ran the booth closed the flap and turned the light off (a lot creepy to me) but Henry liked it.
He loves to wear his hat and shades. He got a pair of Lennon sunglasses at the festival. Is is obsessed with them. And after he got the him he saw some guy walking around in a yellow submarine.
I haven’t seen too much of much so far. #BB28 I missed last nights show too. But I did get to spend time with Henry at a summer festival.
Henry in a play.. Shrek dance routine. He has a feather in his cap. He was so cute. ( biased perhaps)
Today Henry’s grandpa (DILs) dad picked me up to go to see Henry in a little play. He is an old too. He picked me up in his older bright yellow Corvette with the top down and with a straw hat on. I have never been more embarrassed driving through the city.
That’s a wrap trying to sit outside to draw. B sides it being too windy, the thunder has just started.
I am watching my neighbors beagle for a bit (his dad is having unexpected surgery). Everything is good, except, she hasn’t had any water since early morning. No matter where or how many bowls I put out.
A friend sent me photos from her trip to the Yukon. You can almost smell the fresh air in these photos.
Various flowers. Cone flowers, poppy pods cosmos and coreopsis.
A robin mom sitting by a nest that is in a Spruce tree on a very hot day during a heat wave. I really wanted to give her water.
Your yearly reminder. If you have not had a baseline mammogram, get one as soon as you can. It is uncomfortable for a few minutes of your life but can save your life.
My 90 year old neighbor always tells me squirrels eat her plants. I tell it’s probably bunnies. I got the 1am evidence right by the plant that always gets eaten.
I got a new chocolate bar. It’s sort of a bar. As soon as you try to take it out it is true to its name. It flakes all over. And continues on to excessively flake as you try and eat it. You need a plate under your chin. It is really good though. If you get it in your mouth.
All of my nonsense of transplanting, staking and taking care of my supposed Milkweed and it’s a poisonous Poke Weed! among ‘maybe’ some wildflower seeds I planted.
What I thought I was growing for butterflies… milk weed, is now looking more like a darn old Poke weed.
It’s a beauty day out today. Enjoy it, no matter the weather.
This Rex begonia is so pretty with two tones. It looks like a rose somethimes.
I am planting fuchsia this year. My mom always had hanging planters of them on her porch. Usually the bright ones. I have just a few and in this pale pink. They are so beautiful.
My son’s shots of the rainbow tonight as we are getting (but likely won’t I hope) tornado warnings.
