The company’s stock rose by over 16% at its peak on Wednesday to C$137.98 in Toronto, its biggest increase since April 9 when US President Donald Trump announced a 90-day pause on tariffs against Canada and other nations. Canadian markets were closed on July 1 for the Canada Day holiday.
