RIP, Biruté Galdikas. Last of the Trimates, the 3 women pioneers of primate research is gone. Leakey chose Goodall for Chimpanzees, Fossey, Gorillas, and when Goodall was too busy, Galdikas for Orangutans. She went to Borneo in 1971 and dedicated rest of her life to Orangutans.
