I don’t know if it’s a rye joke, minor act of resistance somewhere deep in BH or a coding mistake (it’s always a mistake…) but my car DAB displays the R4 ‘LW’ logo. I keep meaning to mention it to R4… but also kind of like it. Forgive reflections!
Plum Pickin’ Day. (Even if a few bastard snails got there before me)
Populist news nightmare. Two duffers moaning at the same time in different parts of London.
The key thing to remember with terrible visual puns is that they really only amuse the person posting them.
The end of a busy day, which included seeing this chap read at Mold library. Thank you for a entertaining and thoughtful evening, @robinince.bsky.social
Last night was a joy. Thank you Cambridge Corn Exchange. The Archers tour continues but my job as director is done. What an experience it’s been. So grateful to Fane, the tremendous Archers acting and writing teams and especially Angela Barnes for bringing it all home.
Love it or hate it, you can’t ignore it. A true honour to have been asked to direct this tour. Tickets available… and it’s great fun. We opened in Manchester, then Stoke-on-Trent and, tonight, Nottingham…
Another day, another Welsh town name misspelled on the telly. Tiresome.
I’m in the bar at The Swan, Stratford. My first visit back since getting into *a lot* of trouble as a teenager (alongside other school friends) finding Brian Cox hysterically funny as Titus Andronicus. It’s, err… not a comedy. He complained about us at the interval.
Rarely a happy sound. Hope they found whoever they were looking for.

Cannot be arsed working out how to stick this image into a picture of Big Ben. #Satire #Weekending
