The other minis I finished painting this week. All by @westfaliaminis.bsky.social minis

The model is painted with a green tunic, brown belt, and black cloak. The mail and swords are silver with gold cross hilts and pommels. The helm is silver with a gold cross over the face and the horns are gold. The skull is white. On the base in front of the model's feet are white flowers.

Tonight's Star Wars game involved escaping from a Star Destroyer the crew had hijacked before it crashed into another Star Destroyer. I created a deck of random events which filled up a progress clock. The players decided to make it a very colourful clock as they filled it in!

In the background is the Edge of the Empire core book. On it are some paper cards with random events on and a circle with eight equal segments. Six of the segments have been filled in in bright colours

Some more finished models from last night. Just need basing.

A 32mm scale model of a fantasy version of Darth Vader. The model has plate armour with a great sword in its left hand (!). It has a long cloak and its right hand is holding a flame. The model is painted in black and metal. The sword and flame are shaded from white, through yellow and orange, to red. I considered trying to show the light of the flames on the cloak but I don't think I have the skill for that right now.

Last night's painting effort: medieval snow trooper from @westfaliaminis.bsky.social

32mm model of a medieval soldier in breastplate and with chainmail mask, carrying a spear. The model has a fur half-cape hanging from the waist, a metal codpiece and is incredibly reminiscent of a snow trooper from the Empire Strikes back. The model is painted in silver for the armour and various off-white colours for the material and fur. The base is covered in snow with pink flowers between the model's feet. The spear is dark brown with a silver head, boots and belt are black.

Going through my sketch book for the first time since I last did #ludumdare almost ten years ago and found this little guy

First three minis freshly painted. Part way through I was worried that I'd lost any skill I had after the five year hiatus but I'm really pleased with how these have turned out.

A 28mm model from the Baron's War range from Footsore. Model is of a bishop-knight in chainmail, with a surcoat and great helm with bishops cap on top. Armed with a mace and carrying a shield. The model's surcoat is red with gold trim and a blue belt. The shield is painted with red and white diagonal stripes.

I haven't painted any minis in *years* and I've had some which are finished and gathering dust which just need basing. I've got loads of flowers which I deemed too precious for most models but now everyone is getting flowers. Including Death Dealer

Last night I went to Merlin's Cafe Bar in Birmingham to see the amazing @jasonstoryteller.bsky.social perform Slaine: the Horned God. Fantastic horror themed venue and fantastic experience
