akutagawas from earlier this year that i forgot to post ^_^' #bsd #bungostraydogs
hotd fans babying daeron and feeling bad for him when they've spent the past several years hating alicent for being in a similar situation.
jonathan strange & mr norrell ; susanna clarke; 2004; fantasy/historical; 4 stars. kinda slow-paced in the beginning, but gets better as the story goes on. has effective world-building and good characters, and i really enjoyed the narrative style - you get a more historical perspective
participation piece for team doctor who for the @yuriolympics.bsky.social round 1: revival ^_^ #doctorwho #thasmin #yuri #yurishippingolympics #yso2026
done! two versions of harrow because i couldn't decide if i liked her better with or without facepaint
give me 3 characters to draw! (i've asked for 3 from some friends on discord already)
it is ridiculous that they cast a 29-year-old as the son of a 32-year-old 😭 what do you fucking mean aemond is supposed to be 16-17 that is a grown ass man.
the absurditiy of this series is always a lot of fun... like yeah sure rui was turned into a cyborg and a magical girl by an evil organization. and her magic power is missiles. why not.
moths; rosalind ashe; 1976; horror/gothic; 3.5 stars. kind of a slow read for me. i liked the older style of the prose contrasted with the contemporary 70's setting. i couldn't help but wish the protagonist was a woman though, it would have made his obsession with nemo more interesting to me.
