People may be excited or just annoyed by the idea of a Marvel x Star Wars crossover comic. But may I remind you that not only was there a Star Trek x Marvel comic, there was a sequel novel where Picard and Prof X meet and Beast comments how similar they look before P Stew was cast as Xavier. 🤣

I finished levelling White Mage in FFXIV and gosh I'm surprised how much I like playing healer! But while I'll undoubtedly keep playing WHM just for fun, I have a wheel of jobs to spin to pick what I level up next. And the wheel declares... I'm gonna level DANCER next! :o
The dream of the dino update has been realised. <3 Not only does the fortress of Ancientspark have its own army of war trained Afrovenators, but the elves I'm at war with are riding friggin Ceratosaurus into battle against me!
The dinosaurs in my fortress now outnumber the dwarves almost 2:1. 😍 (I actually didn't intend it to get this extreme, the Afrovenators just kept claiming a bunch of nest boxes when I wasn't looking). XD

Downsides of this roasting hot summer weather: Almost everything. Upside: This isn't even a quarter of my home's ripe strawberries, we just didn't have enough tubs on hand to pick more. 😅
Elves! Elves with Therizinosaur pack dinos! Unfortunately they didn't have any dinosaurs for sale this time, buuuut they did have a giant kestrel, and birds are modern dinosaurs so I'm calling it a win. :P

The oldschool megabeasts of Dwarf Fortress don't know how to contend with the newcomers, clearly. Here we see the history of a zombie dragon that had dozens of notable kills to its name, getting merc'd in the end by a Paraceratherium (a big ol' ancient, now extinct relative of the rhino).
Couldn't even get through 50 years of World Gen before the Dwarf Fortress dino update delivered on its promise. RIP that bronze colossus.
The addition of enemy commanders and the little blurbs they get are one of my favourite siege update additions to Dwarf Fortress. This commander killed one of my dwarves in a raid, then fled, got a promotion, and came back six months later at the head of an entire army. D:
What's that, Urist? You can hear strange sounds from the next bedroom over once a month? The one with the brick wall built over the door? Hmm... nah, must have been the wind.

I think this might be the darkest sentence I've ever read in a Dwarf Fortress bio during one of my own games. Holy shit, lmao. D: (The wife was killed in her sleep by a vampire, got resurrected as a zombie because it's a reanimating biome, then attacked her husband who was sleeping next to her.)
While waiting for the Dino Update, I decided to generate a 1000 year old world in Dwarf Fortress just to pass the time. Settled on a "sinister" tundra biome thinking eh, how bad can it be... Ah, it's a re-animating biome roamed by zombie elk and musk ox. Fantastic. 😭
This is a niche crossover reference that probably won't land for most of the people who follow me, but... I know Dan and Phil played Final Fantasy 14. I didn't know the devs put them in the game as their Easter baking fursonas too. :o
Since it started at 80, levelling pictomancer to 100 was pretty quick, and very fun too once I got the hang of a new FFXIV rotation at high level. But now that's maxed out, it's back to the wheel of jobs... and oh my, it's my first healer role! White Mage! :o
Wooo, for the first time since I started playing, I'm officially fully caught up with the Final Fantasy 14 MSQ! :o
Thrillingway is rapidly rising through the ranks of my favourite non-MSQ FFXIV NPCs. XD For those unaware, Thrillingway is a loporrit who seeks out, in the game's canon, "thrills". Thrills such as getting his fur melted off by acid or sheared off by sharp clippers, and getting tied up with ropes. 👀
I finished levelling Summoner to 100 in FFXIV! Had a lot of fun with it, and will definitely play the job more in high level content when I've got better gear together! That also means it's back to the wheel of chance to figure out my next job to level. Aaand the wheel says, PICTOMANCER! :o
