Just released an update for Impart! Mostly small QOL stuff, but it feels good to get back into the swing of things :)

Default Excluded Tags:

You can now flag tags as "Excluded by Default". Tags that are excluded by default are automatically excluded when launching the app and when clearing the tag selection. Useful if you have files which you'd like to track in Impart that you don't necessarily want to browse every time you open the app!

Other Stuff:

When editing the tags on a file, tags are now ordered by their order in the side bar (instead of whatever order they were originally assigned in)
Alternatively, the tags may be ordered alphabetically, configurable via the new "Tagging" options screen
Added a new "Displayed Files" filter in the search bar filters which lets you choose which type of files to display (image files only, non-image files only, etc)
Accidentally added the wrong directory to Impart? You can now halt file indexing via the little drop down menu on the indexing panel!
You can now detach a source file from an image file (from the right click menu on the image)
When a non-image file with tags gets associated with an image file, that image file now inherits those tags (can be disabled in the Tagging options)
You can now disable showing the patch notes on update
You can now also view the patch notes manually from the "Updates" options screen
Finally fixed a bug where tag selection would be ignored while the app was starting up
The app now has logs! They can be found at [USER]/AppData/Roaming/impart/logs/main.log on Windows and [USER]/.config/impart/logs/main.log on Linux
Added some additional empty results images!
Fixed an error being thrown when trying to delete a tag category that contains tags that are attached to files
Fixed an edge case where dragging a tag while bulk tagging files would break the whole interface
Uninstalling Impart now also properly clears out the app data on Windows
Updated electron, typescript and a few other small packages

I guess this is a good time to say that I have indeed joined art fight this year. I originally considered skipping it, but figured "ah what the hell" and joined anyway. Was thinking if I don't end up drawing anything, I can just join spec later on, but lo and behold, I've already made an attack haha

A little me lore: For the past nine years, it's been a little tradition of mine to try draw something out of my comfort zone on Halloween. I just started this year's pic now, but I have no idea if it's gonna come together at all, so for the time being, here's a couple of pics from previous years!

The random team button has spoken, I am officially team fossil on art fight! This admittedly changes my plans a bit, but I find it more satisfying to be on the team with less players (substantially less in the case wow), so I'll figure it out!

Other artists: [getting their art fight profiles and character refs ready] Me: what if my characters had that weird ball shaped tail that stantler has

Rav and Vagre with their backs turned towards the camera, both of them sporting perfectly spherical tails that look almost unnatural. Rav looks back somewhat intrigued while Vagre looks much more amused.

Rav: "Well this is weird..."
Vagre with much more stylized, sharper text: "I'd say it looks rather DASHING"

I setup a few new character pages for Art Fight!

A reference for Corvalus "The Corvid King"; a tall corvid monster fellow. The following notes are shown on the ref:
- Typically has a small army of corvids following him
- Quite the storyteller! (most of the stories are about himself)

There's also a guide on various ways you can draw his wings

A reference for Vagre, "Loreless Beast", an eyeless beast with smooth skin and black teeth. The reference has the following notes
- Usually hunched over (but can be drawn standing upright)
- Feels smooth but very weird (Their whole body is the same consistency so you can pretty much press your hands in and feel their skeleton)
- Stylized mouth (but can totally be drawn with a normal mouth)

A reference for A.I.K.O., an "Autonomous Inflatable Kinetic Observer", a huge plane like entity with very cute eyes. Their ref has the following notes:
- Jet that loves you'
- Communicates with beeps and boops
- Can be safely ridden!
- Eyes are animated!
- (above a picture of them holding a wing up with happy eyes) They are waving at you :)
- Filled with air but also lots of tech! (still kind of heavy)
- Bounces like a seal to move around while grounded (but like in slow motion due to their size)
