Clive, my usual very good boy who always obeys, ran across and out of the unofficial dog park today, crossed a street and ran out of sight for probably a block before he came back. He acted like someone he knew called him, but I saw no one. Luckily it was early enough in the day so nothing happened

You can tell my Martha Stewart recipe is well used by the condition of the pages. You can substitute all kinds of things but this is still my favorite combo. My husband sous vided and seared fresh tuna, but honestly this is just as good with canned.

Niçoise makes a refreshing main course for a hot summer evening: Accompanied by crispy French bread and an exceptional cheese, chilled white wine, and a fresh fruit compote, this is a salad that will delight all.

FRENCH VINAIGRETTE
1 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 tablespoons wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, finely minced
Coarse kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon each chopped fresh basil, tarragon, and oregano
SALAD
8 new potatoes, of uniform size
3 tablespoons dry vermouth
1 tablespoon minced scallion

1 2-ounce tin rolled anchovies
3 hard-boiled eggs, halved
4 ripe tomatoes, quartered
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Abolish ICE and prosecute them

The incident appears to be the first fatal shooting involving federal immigration agents since U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed in separate incidents in Minneapolis in January during an enforcement surge in that city. Those killings sparked a wide public backlash to President Donald Trump's mass deportation campaign and the aggressive tactics employed by federal officers.
ICE's account of Salgado Araujo's killing echoed many of the statements the agency quickly issued in other shootings that resulted in fatalities or injuries to undocumented immigrants and U.S. citizens. In several instances, however, video evidence and testimony from witnesses contradicted the agency's initial accounts, establishing that the officers were not in danger and, in some cases, acted as the aggressors.
Federal prosecutors dropped assault charges against some of the people who had been shot and wounded in light of the additional evidence.
