MOTHERFUCKER ok so. Mayday is purposefully and beautifully uncanny. And a big part of it is that, in all but the most extreme instances, May's smile doesnt quiiite reach her eyes. Normally when people smile, their eyes will crinkle/bottom eyelids will rise. Not Mayday, her eyes stay dinner plates.

If i had a nickel for every video game red and green QPR from an indie studio that grabbed me by the throat and refused to let go, Id have two nickels. which isnt a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

I had another pass at Past!Mayday and Zuke before this but I wasn't happy with it and wanted another go

I adore this cover because it's soft and sweet yes but also because it helps me keep Zuke and May's heights consistent. "May's forhead is at Kissie level" has been a lifesaver
