Power is off again. Thank goodness for the gas lamp. Went off as we were about to turn on the electric pressure cooker. Supper is delayed as now we have to do it on the Gas cooker top.
Started watching the 2026 version of Little House on the Prairie on Netflix last night. So far we enjoying it.
34 Years ago on 4th July 1992 I was in New York when the BE Esmeralda participated in OpSail92. What an experience to spend Independence Day celebrations in this amazing city. Yes my slides are not in great order anymore. Mould is starting to eat at the vegetable coatings.
When I was little, I didn't care what I wore. I just went along with what my parents chose. When I look in old photo albums, I realise that they didn't care either.
Well it was a busy weekend at our house: • Garage painted - Was a dark chocolate brown 🤮 • Workbench fitted and tool boards fitted 🔨🪛 • Doggie door installed - Now to teach her to use it 🐕 • Water tanks cleaned and ready to be plumbed in. Two 1.4kl with tap water and one 2.5kl for rain water. 💧🚰

The end to a great long weekend with friends of the NO NAME Weekend Campers at Marlon Holiday Resort, KZN South Coast 🇿🇦. We celebrated #internationalcampingday a bit early as that is on the 29 June. Pity some had already departed when we took the group photo.
Today is the 6 week from discharge follow up for Hubby at the Cardiothorasic Surgeon. Hoping he gives the go ahead for him to drive and start his slow return to work. Another typical doc of hurry up and wait. Appointment was rescheduled for 10:00. It now 10:20 and still another patient ahead of us.
