I should also say that I started betting on Rayner for next PM the day she had to step down as deputy leader. I continued as the odds tumbled from 46 then and hedged a bit on Miliband. I stand to win a modest amount if she wins.

I'm genuinely sad that I campaigned as a member for Labour to be elected, and alongside the mess in schools, we get this. I knew there would be things I disagree with - including on immigration - but I didn't realise I was campaigning for a party with very different values to mine.
