Spend a lot of my time walking the dog. Based in Stamford, UK
Hollyhocks still putting on a show …. I’m going to miss them when they’re gone #flowers
The grass is so dry it actually crackles when we walk across it! #dog #walking #heatwave #summer2026
Afternoon visit to Breedon-on-the-Hill Church to listen to it’s history -as far as can be worked out! Wonderful views!
Some sort of domestic double #hollyhock compared to normal ones. It’s a first for me! #flowers #gardens
The #dog looks a bit miserable in this photo, but he has been fed and watered! It feels a bit chilly this morning at 16o after the excessive heat. House is cooling down nicely 👍🏻
Today I drove from Stevenage to Stamford and it was 35o all the way. At home bedroom was 30o and downstairs 26o. A/c on, will be sleeping in the lounge tonight! 🫠 #heatwave
£1.99 for a flat white, and it’s actually nice! Who knew? Absolutely all the food looks dodgy though …. #morningcoffee
It’s warming up, but at 8:30 am there is a cool breeze. #Heatwave week ahoy!
We are both enjoying the garden now it’s a bit cooler. He’s looking for something to bark at! 🐕😂 #dog #garden #deadgrass
How lucky am I? I didn’t plant this rose. Its appeared near the bird feeder. I think it was a gift 🪶🪶🪶
First thing in the morning, the #cat surveys it’s kingdom. The dog patrols the perimeter fence. 😂 #petpatrol #mornings
My raspberry patch is a metaphor for life. The more funny angles you look at it from, the more ripe fruit you find ❤️🤗🧘
40oC ???? This is not my idea of #summer in England. The Mediterranean maybe ….
