i know you guys are kindof committed to the SNES bit but i feel like (if possible in the engine) if you just banked the turns a Little bit. just a tiny bit of a hill to bank the turn i think that'd add a lot of good readability without needing neon signs

so i went snooping as usual into Ubisoft's most recent fiscal report, and y'know
it's kinda funny how despite them confirming--publicly--that Multiple projects involving Rayman are in the works, and that we'd be hearing from them "sooner than later," he isn't mentioned once

an old post from twitter dot com (circa Sep. 2025) of me saying;
"i still wouldn't say Rayman's Alive (tee hee) until i see a trailer
'you won't see it any time soon but trust we're making something' doesn't bring me comfort from the company that's restarted BG&E2 like twice"
included is a picture of Rayman talking to Sandbag from the Super Smash Bros. series, as a stand-in for myself. Rayman is asking "do you seriously not have ANY trust in--" "no, lmao" sandbag interrupts

oops i forgot to be posting these to the media he's wiz and i'm boomstick, it's been about 2 and a half days so far and it'll be a somewhat lengthy 4 and a half more

Shovel Knight unearthing a mysterious, dusty chest from the ground, solemnly buried distant from a small house on a hill.

Shovel Knight meeting Alien Hominid. the alien is trying to gnaw shovel knight's head off, but he doesn't seem to mind. Shield Knight, observing the commotion, is surprised at shovel knight's complacency.

Shovel Knight and Guy Spelunky, exploring together in a deep, dark cave, using their own tools to provide light sources. I sure hope there's no looming monsters around.

odd adjacency but the logic makes me think of "that bit" in the middle of mario's overalls. the like. line. it's always weird when That Line is prominently detailed and not just like. blending in, even if it makes sense mario's overalls just kinda look nicer as one big shape. no lines please

super mario jumping! it's the same pose, but one render is old and one render is new and very detailed. there's a big strap? seam? going across his overalls in both, but in the newer one it's like. outdented. and it looks odd. you're moggin up the shape language homeboy

this one's more wordy but i think it's also cool how they all fold to Self-Doubt but in different ways. i love these guys

more sonic the hedgehog rambling.
silver folds when he gets forced by someone to ask himself if what he's doing is right

shadow folds when he starts losing sight of himself, when something doesn't feel "right" for him and he loses focus

it's very hard to make sonic fold, but if he's running out of space to keep running and time to keep moving he starts to get all wibbly wobbly as that clock keeps ticking down

and conversely metal sonic takes advantage of this, all of his victories (and what-ifs) are if nobody does anything to stop him. he preys off fear and if people just stay complacent he does what he wants, and usually that's very very bad
