Procured a Gen 3 NVMe and a 9V to 3A power supply, and now the SuperStation is working as expected. Confirmed that my saves are intact as well. Massive pain in the ass that could have saved me a lot of time if the docs were a bit more detailed, but the end result is what matters.
applied a heatsink to my ssd and it worked the first time, but it's not working on subsequent attempts. starting to think that there's something going on with the firmware of the dock itself

getting the ssd to work with my super station has been such a fucking chore. plugged the dock in last night, start copying over all my disc-based games, walk up to find that it errored out on the TG16 games, and now the fucking thing isn't showing any of my games. joker moment and such.
I have no stakes in Fortune's Weave at this time since I've yet to play Three Houses, but my girlfriend is very excited based on the Direct so I think the game will be good.
It took a lot of trial and error but I finally got my NVMe installed and working with the MiSTer. Will begin adding PS1 and Saturn games tomorrow.
Hard to pick from a cast of incredible characters, but Aigis edges the rest out. Stellar character design aside, seeing her try to find her purpose and discovering how precious her connections are because of the impermanence of life is perfect. Koromaru gets second place.

Completed the Conviction arc of Berserk Musou, and man that game is tripping over its lack of budget in the presentation. Almost all the cutscenes for the Golden Age are direct rips from the movie, and most stuff after that is models standing around, occasionally rotating to talk to each other.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is about what I expected from a Musou game (kinda repetitive but fun enough), but having under 10 playable characters and giving one of the spots to Wyald is a weird choice. I'm gonna play up until I hit the Millennium Falcon arc, as I haven't read that far yet.
Cold take but the opening riff of Welcome to the Jungle is insane.

Took a few months but I FINALLY rolled credits on Persona 3 FES! Incredible game in almost every regard! I'm gonna take an extended break before I come back for NG+ and The Answer, but The Journey is a rock-solid experience that I can easily recommend.
