Cybersecurity advice and security tools often assume a stable internet connection, personal devices, and money. That’s not reality for everyone. Agree or Disagree? Share your thoughts with us by taking our 1-2 minute Polis here 👉 pol.is/5vfdrszvsa #DigitalSecurity #PublicInterestTech #CyberSec
Security tools are meant to protect people, but they don’t always feel designed for the contexts people are actually in. We’re exploring how people experience this in practice! Take our Polis and share your perspective 👇 pol.is/2bbebkdtyd #DigitalSecurity #UX #CivicTech

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is one of the most widely recommended security measures. But what happens when the experience is frustrating or unreliable? We’re exploring this tradeoff in our latest Polis. 👉 Share your perspective: pol.is/8udrjxfbnh #DigitalSecurity #2FA #PublicInterestTech
If someone drops a security tool early, is that failure — or a rational decision? As part of our wider research on security tools, we’re collecting views on how people decide what to keep or drop. Share your thoughts here 👉 pol.is/8buydnccfj #DigitalSecurity #Usability #PublicInterestTech
NGOs often run on a stack of security tools: VPNs + password managers + 2FA. This offers more security in theory, but in practice, it can make day-to-day management harder. Where’s the tipping point? We’re exploring this in our latest 1-2 minute Polis 👇 pol.is/6dmdzed9mu #DigitalSecurity #CivicTech
We’re running a series of short Polis prompts over the next 2 weeks on #security & #usability for a new Superbloom research project. The focus: how people actually make decisions about security tools in practice. We’ll be sharing 9 questions. Here’s the first 👇 pol.is/8buydnccfj #UX #CivicTech
One big takeaway from #IJF last week? News outlets are rethinking their relationship with Big Tech. The old value exchange is breaking down, and it’s unclear what will replace it in the GenAI era. More collective action is emerging. Missed it? Rewatch the sessions here www.journalismfestival.com
