We the People means all of us, regardless of age, ability, gender, ethnicity and color (OK, maybe not orange). Project 2025 is here. Unite. Show up. Democracy is ours to lose. Lesbojibinist (Lesbian, Ojibwe, Feminist) 𖧶 𓀎 She/her/dr
Looks like my neighbor is having a huge bonfire. NOPE! It's just our air right now in southwest MI. AirNow air quality is 486 out of 500, hazardous. Marquette right now is at 764. OUT OF 500! But hey, if that's not your thing, we also have a cyclospora outbreak. 4300+ cases as of today.
Happy 250 America. Yes, I celebrated. And reflected. My ancestor's history with America is one of loss & defeat, unsuccessful genocide, horror. But not all is lost. We. Are. Still. Here. Not just here, we fight for this country. Still warriors. Yes, we are both. Painting by Kee Yazzie.
Great article. "Indigenous peoples were not bystanders to the American Revolution. They were sovereign nations navigating a rapidly changing political landscape, making difficult decisions in defense of their lands, cultures, and futures."

Just watched the beautiful & intelligent Lily Gladstone speak at Rise Up, Sing Out livestream. She gave a welcome in her native Blackfeet tongue & spoke of the history of NY & its first people, the Lenape, the history of our nation's indigenous people and animals like the buffalo. Migwetch!
We just got a severe thunderstorm warning because this is barreling down on Michigan.
I miss Ptown. I used to go every year when I lived on the East Coast. Sigh.
For all the moms in Heaven, including my very beloved nimaamaa. Prayers for Renee Good's children and hoping the angels hold them extra tight today.
❤️ this! My cat had her own mini tour when we lived at the end of a row of apartments near the dumpster. Everyone had to walk by to take their garbage out and she was always on the window perch to chat with them.
The sign language interpreter for his ramblings was seen repeating this:
