The Aranet4 was a great addition to our SDCC experience. Very simple to use and force refresh. It showed us that the press rooms were well ventilated and the floor was not, as expected. Other panel rooms varied, and some areas that felt open and safe were actually not. Anyway, highly recommended.
Dirtbag Henry is at the vet for more tests. He’s lost a couple of pounds but otherwise is the same dirtbag you all know and love. He even tried to bite my ankles yesterday so I know he’s feeling mostly fine. But our bank account is not fine. Ah well, we take the wins where we can.

We’ve just spent a lot of money on tests for Dirtbag Henry, and likely we will be spending many more dollars on other tests soon. What’s one hundo percent certain is that he will not be grateful. But I love him so much. 💕

My unhinged workouts because I have muscle imbalances so I cannot in fact Be Normal My right quad issue meant my hips were weak & my right hamstring issue meant my glutes were weak. Also you can aggravate your sciatic nerve and it will make your hamstring hurt. Bodies are weird and sometimes silly.

Dirtbag Henry is so annoyed whenever Izzy tries to cuddle with him. He also gets annoyed if he’s on the couch and I sit too close to him. But if he gets very cold he MIGHT cuddle with you. Temporarily. Otherwise he’s very “how dare you”

I’ve been volunteering as a grant writer since August for a dog rescue and we just got TWO medical grants for a pair of puppies who were abandoned with serious skin infections. They’re now healed up and living their best lives. 💕
So one time last year I hit the steam valve on the instant pot, completely forgetting that Izzy had never heard it before, and I almost lost some limbs. Now we tell her BIG NOISE several times before we open the steam valve, and today she very bravely did not hide under the couch. Good job Izzy!
I went skating and was out for three hours last night. Got up at 2 am to blow my nose many times, then got up at 3 am, went through over a dozen Kleenex, had a sneezing fit, and eventually took Claritin six hours early at 3:30 am. This is miserable. I have never had allergies this bad.
Izzy is kind of cold but hasn’t decided if she wants a cuddle or not. My Fallout mug is currently warm and full of tea, so that might be why she’s decided to hunker down on the TV tray.
I have rollered a skate. Later I may roller a derby. Who designed these holodeck programs by the way? Is this what they did for fun in the past? Seems hard actually!
