Rough few days. Our new girl Gertie was diagnosed on Saturday with Parvovirus. After 4 nights in the vet hospital (after only being with us for 4 nights), she is home. We are learning to heal together. #rescueismyfavoritebreed
Our year is starting with a new family member. Around 2 yrs old, she comes with the name of Gertie. Once we remembered that's the little girl in E.T., and then discovered she responds to "Gertrude" if you really need her attention, we decided to keep it. Meet Gertie. #rescueismyfavoritebreed
