Want something a little different? Try Katharine Tynan's THE DEATH SPANCEL, part of our Strange Stories by Irish Women series. “An important work of literary recovery. Tynan’s lovely, musical sentences carry a hint of Irish mist and melancholy.” – Washington Post swanriverpress.ie/srp-title/th...
Whenever I watch MOTHMAN PROPHECIES, I get really into Mothman for like the next two weeks. Its just something that happens. The story is the perfect melange of high weirdness. Both film and book are excellent, a curious piece of literature.
I revisited Nacho Vigalondo's TIMECRIMES for the first time in years. Still a marvellous and compact time travel thriller. There are some comedic notes throughout, but the end is genuinely troubling. If you've not seen it yet, I recommend it.
Ah, how could I forget Ray Bradbury's heatwave and murder story, "Touched by Fire". Superbly adapted for the Ray Bradbury Theater starring Eileen Brennan.
Copies left of Richard Gavin's occult collection NOCTURNAL MIRRORS. *Our hardbound limited editions feature durable dust jackets, printed boards, sewn binding, head and tail bands, and are lithographically printed on high-quality stock. Also, I got a new plinth. swanriverpress.ie/srp-title/no...
On warm, still summer nights, I like to revisit Ray Bradbury's "The Whole Town's Sleeping", that chilling chapter from Dandelion Wine about The Lonely One. Turns out this literary shadow was based on a real character... bradburymedia.blogspot.com/2009/09/reve...
I'm always disappointed to receive a limited edition, indie press hardback only to find that it's print on demand. 1/2

Richard Gavin's new collection of mystical and occult tales, NOCTURNAL MIRRORS, continues to be received warmly by readers. Copies are moving out the door at a pace. If you'd like a signed hardback, you can order here: swanriverpress.ie/srp-title/no...
An irradiated Robert Smith grew to enormous size and rampaged through Marlay Park last night.
Last hardback copies here on the Low Stock report. Once these are gone, they're gone. swanriverpress.ie/titles/?wpv-...
Any fans of Forrest Reid out there? I wonder if a comparison to Bradbury is apt here?
The trilogy of terror, warmly signed, jackets properly sheathed in Brodarts to protect future generations. @mrholness.bsky.social

One of the cool things about the FRIENDS OF ARTHUR MACHEN is they issue a twice-yearly a hardback journal chock full of curiosities. And occasionally they publish books that are given away free to members (often later highly sought after by collectors). Join here: www.arthurmachen.org.uk/join/
I've got here this copy of Le Fanu's Green Tea, a fine copy, but... The text block has been bound upside down and the pages trimmed cutting about a with off the top of each page. Bin? Or has someone got a better idea?
