Did you know this about Charles Durning?

Durning served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was drafted at age 20. Durning landed in France as part of an artillery unit in one of the first waves of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. 8! After being wounded by a German anti-personnel mine in the bocage, he spent six months recovering. Durning was reassigned to the 398th Infantry Regiment with the 100th Infantry Division, and participated in the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944. He was discharged with the rank of private first class on January 30, 1946. 91

Last four movies I’ve watched. They Will Kill You (4 stars, dumb and fun), The Monkey (3.5 stars, much better than I thought it would be), The Apartment (5 stars, pretty much a perfect movie), and Backrooms (4 stars, pretty great!)

Started to watch a video of someone restoring a stuffed Mr Snuffleupagus to relax and ended up in a eldritch nightmare instead.

A stuffed Mr Snuffleupagus plush with all the filling taken out and washed. The way that it is placed on a towel makes it look like a one-eyed formless creature, with a thin appendage coming out of its side.

I'm laughing extra hard at this because when my kid was in second grade, I showed him how to use Photoshop for a school project, and this is the first thing he made.
