Ended up being longer than I thought it would be. Had to sprint at the end to make the bus. 🏃♀️
Good morning from 2 km into today's hike. The trailhead is 30 minutes by bus from the Stockholm subway. It's 19° C and partly cloudy. 🌤️🥾
Had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Stockholm, followed by an evening visit to IKEA – an ancient Swedish tradition.
Today I got to see something I've wanted to see for a long time: Anders Celsius' own thermometer. His invention was creating a centigrade temperature scale between the freezing and boiling point of water. However, he used 100 for the former and 0 for the latter. Only later was it reversed. 🌡️
Today is a relax, do grocery shopping, and play games kind of day. Tonight: The FIFA World Cup bronze match between England and France.
Happy hour at the hamburger joint in the Stockholm residential area where our summer apartment is located. I just love sitting outdoors on their patio on a beautiful summer day, enjoying a good pub meal, and then walking ten minutes back to the apartment.
Celebrating a beautiful Stockholm evening with drinks in our neighborhood park. ☀️🌳🍻⛲
Pictures from various walks around the neighborhood where our summer apartment in Stockholm is located. I love how the buildings capture the light from the setting sun. The last picture is from an evening walk at 9:45 p.m.
Good morning from a perfect day in Stockholm. No, I'm not hiking in the woods. This is the pedestrian path from the subway station to my summer apartment.

Varför har Fonus vid Brommaplan två stora örnar och en liggstol på terrassen? Handlar det om någon bregravnigsrit jag inte känner till?
