SO ANYWAY. tile is legitimately CRUMBLING, its popped up in the worst "wet" center. obviously we've found the tile.... hole? crack? moist seam? its tileussy? So i removed them. lord knows i can find the cheap replacement if desired. but im finding out where the water spawns from i fucking swear
so im like, fuck it, I can always lay the carpet back down and i need to make sure theres no mold, etc. well, there's no mold. just more fucking tile. the entire furnished basement has this ugly, crumbling, cheap ass tile
(well, more than that but ill get to that later) i couldn't see water like, coming down. in my head i was like, ok its running underneath the tile. from somewhere. probably the water heater. here's a picture of the area while they were working, it soaked THROUGH their tarp. i had warned them of it.
next up on the house fix-it list is investigate the mystery leak SO basically this carpet next to the utility.. closet...thing well just randomly get wet with clean water. now, we knew the water tank had pressure leak problems and figured it was the source, but as the area is partially tile-
