For making it this far in the thread, here's some miscellaneous concept art I made for "MnL: Trauma Bonding" as thanks. Maybe one day I can return to this project with a renewed vigor as the story is still incredibly important to me. For now, I'm just happy to share these pieces with you.
There were several reasons their parents decided to relocate to Brooklyn. Some were obvious, like providing the boys a place to grow up safely without the usual threats the Mushroom Kingdom faced. The biggest reasons were much worse. Mario had forgotten about them, but Luigi still remembered.
🧵 Decided to finally drop those concepts here. The project's codename was Chronocopia; it was meant to be a M&L-styled horror fangame surrounding themes of generational trauma and mental illness. We never got very far in development, but I'm still proud of the things made.
