Papas caldudas.

Diced, peeled potatoes in a broth of tomato. Seasoned with onion, garlic, cumin, and salt. Often made with ground beef but any beef works. If you make this, brown the meat first and then put in the broth into the same pan because that ensures the meat is flavorful and the broth has beef flavors.

I dressed Stanley for summer.

My Halloween skeleton Stanley that "lives" in my front porch. He's about 5 foot and clothes for 12 year olds fit him perfectly, so I put my kid's old summer clothes on him.

My dad is alive is a retired school teacher who did the yearbook and taught photojournalism. He's been running his own radio station for a very long time and last year bought his own radio antenna. Y'all need to see what his hair was like in the 70s.

My dad with his Dauntless Bud Man shirt and his enormous curls that are flattened on top because he also wore those foam front baseball caps everyone had in the 70s with the plastic clips on the back.

I've been collecting vintage embroidery patterns and pieced together this one. I think it's hilarious when illustrations are mascots of the thing you're going to eat. I combined it with a fish border I had from another collection.
