If a resident faces a 30-minute wait or an hour-long, winding journey to get across town, they will choose a car every time. We cannot approve high-density growth without matching it with useful frequent grid infrastructure. #Guelph #GuelphTransit
Building facilities and buying electric buses is only half the battle. Council must be willing to fund the drivers, mechanics, and operational hours so that routes are more frequent and the standard across the city, not the exception. #Guelph #GuelphTransit
Transit isn't just for 9-to-5 commuters heading downtown. If a worker cannot reliably get home from a late shift or a weekend shift, the system has failed them, and the development forces car-dependence. #Guelph #GuelphTransit
While others at #Guelph City Hall treat transit as a burden, we see it as a lost opportunity. Promote as an alternative to drinking & driving. We hope those people are not actively trying to encourage that with more parking. Take transit to Downtown Guelph this ☀️ Find your ride guelph.ca/transit
Frequency is Freedom and generates ridership, fuller bused, & higher revenue. Coverage costs taxpayers money to keep buses running mostly empty and inefficient. Help us advocate for a frequent transit network in #Guelph where buses come every 15 minutes or better on major routes! taaguelph.com/join
Investing in transit means our local economy wins! So why is #Guelph City Hall taking away millions of dollars of potential revenue & savings for local businesses with infrequent transit? Help us tell City Hall to invest in local transit and grow our economy. www.taaguelph.com/join #GuelphTransit
Frequency = Freedom Help us tell City Hall that more frequent transit benefits #Guelph! www.taaguelph.com/join

If we want people to choose the bus over the car, the bus needs a clear path. 🚌💨 It's time for City Hall to create dedicated bus & queue jump lanes + signal priority. Let's stop the 15-minute commute from becoming a 40-minute crawl #GuelphTransit #Guelph Fight for better transit taaguelph.com/join

In 2026 Fares could be hiked as high as 7.69% (Cash Fare) & the monthly cap will hit $100 by 2027...and yet buses are late, stuck in traffic, filled to the brim...delayed investments, slowed electric bus purchases....so much for "getting our house in order!" It's time to #Fightforyourride #Guelph
