It's time for summer reading, and I have the perfect recommendation. Please read David Lee Roth's 1997 memoir Crazy From the Heat. It is the ideal summer book: wildly entertaining, unserious, dishy, and impossible to not hear in his voice. DLR is an unreliable but reliably hilarious narrator
There are so many but my favorite is probably that my 4’11” weirdo artist ass has a WNBA championship ring of my very own, with my government name on the side (and on the beautiful wooden keepsake box it came in). GO STORM!
Y’all, the most wholesome goddamn thing just happened- the two little kiddos from a house on my street stopped by with these glorious hand made flyers for their dog walking biz. I love the picture they drew, and the copy is priceless “too crazy? You’re in luck!”.
