A small image in my Māori worldbuilding game, Whakawhitinga!
The closing lines of Will Hansen's Evidence Brief is a quote by Georgina Beyer that's deeply emotionally effecting me right now.
Poem from Mary Oliver's poetry collection 'Red Bird'. I hate to think that some think her poems are simply beautiful words with no meaning, when even the ones that seem this way are deeply moving and political, given the state of the world and the ways that art is devalued as a form of truth.
The TTRPG bundle to support PATHA's legal costs to fight the ban on puberty blockers for trans kids in Aotearoa NZ is $5.48USD away from meeting the $2k goal! Who will be the person to push it over the edge? itch.io/b/3421/ban-t...
The fourth is 'what gender are we?' where you and a friend figure out what genders you are! All coming in my collection 'everything begins small' at the end of the month!
Next, 'a final act of devotion', where you're going to die, and you must set a scavenger hunt through your memories so someone you love can find your password to let your online queer friends know that you're dead.
The second is 'they cloned [your name]', a game for 3 players played over messages, where one played has just realised they've been cloned, another is someone who cares about the clone/original, and the third is The Agency, making sure the clone doesn't reveal too much.
I've written 4 games so far for 200 Word RPG month 2025 on Tumblr! The first is 'bog + body', where two players are 1 bog body, one is the presencenof the bog and the other the human. Compete to see where the bog body will rest! Will be released in a collection at the end of the month!
Got two moon based ttrpg characters right now, and every so often when I've been rolling bad with their dice, I put them outside in the full moon time cleanse the Bad Rolls. So of course the super moon last night meant putting them out to improve the rolls as we come to the end of our campaign!
In honour of a new boggy game slowly pickling away in my brain (maths is hard), here's a very swampy jumper I just finished crocheting!
