In the relationship I have with my dogs, one of us is the slave and it’s not the dogs.
Mine is bordered by wood and uses on old dog pen to keep dogs and other critters out. Tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, garlic and peppers do well. So do sunflowers except even dwarf varieties take too much space. I’d love to grow berries, but the ones in pots don’t do well. I love your rows!
Here’s who was hanging around my backyard today. I love that there’s still wildlife out here!
It really is the little things that cut deep. My dog Seamus was so black that I had to use a flashlight if I got up at night, so I wouldn’t step on him. The night after he died, I got up and reached for my flashlight and then laid back down and said, “Oh, no.” And cried again.
This was posted as a rare shot of the stork making an actual delivery. Made this grandma laugh.
Congratulations! Your beautiful Finn is the spirit brother of our new dog Chet, who was also a bait dog. He’s a smart little guy and training up really well.
Yay, Austin!!! Here’s Greater Clear Lake, TX 3,500 strong! Let’s flip the state back to compassion and the rule of law!
I’m so sorry. We lost our dog Seamus to cancer at the beginning of last December. His cancer was not treatable, but he lived his last six months really happily with the pain meds, right up until the last week.
