I spent 11 hours on a sleeper train from Andijon to Samarkand with no air-conditioning a few days ago. Not keen on repeating it, I treated myself to a nice seat on the Jaloliddin train to Bukhara. Roughly £40 for reclining seats, air-con, and tons of legroom.
