For no reason, here's a high-res scan of a Spider-Man trading card from the Marvel Universe series (1990).
Probably one of my favorite Super Mario World glitches that I like to pull off in front of people is pretending to miss a jump only to pop up on top of the screen.
For no reason, here’s a high-res scan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie comic book adaption cover artwork.
Here’s a high-res scan of a Mr. Freeze Freezer Bars ad with a Batman & Robin tie-in. This collab just made sense for this movie.
YouTube's instant AI dubbing is so bad. This should not be a thing, holy shit.
Here’s a high-res scan of a TV Guide ad for The Simpsons season 8 episode "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show".
Here’s a high-res scan of a DragonBall Z VHS ad from 1997. Notably… “Zardon”. Was it a typo? Was it Zarbon’s original dub name and Saban thought it was too close to Zordon? We’ll never know.
Here’s a high-res scan of a Crush soda Sylvester & Tweety ad from the summer of 1995.
During my move I found a storage bin of just Bloomingdales X Mario merch from a collab years ago. Here’s some of my favs. • A huge inflatable tube • Vinyl Brown Bag with Mario sprites • Metal Princess Peach water bottle * A Mario Kart ping pong set
For no reason, here’s a high-res scan of Disney's One Saturday Morning ad from 1997.
I’m pretty known for being a Mario collector, but I also have one storage bin of Mega Man stuff. While not nearly as impressive as the Mario bins, here’s some Mega Man things I have that I think are kinda neat…
Here’s four MORE things I came across while moving that my family will find when I die and wonder wtf was wrong with me Scooby-Doo movie AOL disc. FoxBox promo DVDs Toxic Crusaders soundtrack on cassette Birdo notepad from 1989 that I actively use
McDonald's released a TV commercial for their new Refreshers line, and in it they showcase some old cups from over the years. Pretty cool...
Masters of the Universe (movie) action figure TV commercial. Say what you will about the plot, but those character designs are spot on. They didn't try to "modernize" much, they kept a lot of the costumes close to the 80's designs which makes for some pretty cool figures.
My small VHS collection ~ For VHS, it's not about collectability with me (even though most are sealed). It was about nostalgia. Each one means something to me and reminds me of a time and place from my childhood for better or worse.
Here’s four things I came across while moving that my family will find when I die and wonder wtf was wrong with me ~ Grimace’s Birthday Chicken McNugget box. 2016 Ghostbuster’s marshmallows. Unopened box of Monster Mash cereal. And Grinch Salt. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
My new apt has this weird ass coffee table in the lobby. Like ok, that seems really inconvenient.
