The Human Vapor had plenty of standout performances from the cast but Motoki Kobayashi was an unexpected delight for sure, one of my favorite villain performances in a while I'd have never gone into the show thinking this guy would get the most laughs out of me

A lot of the behind-the-scenes news out of Tsuburaya eroded my interest in Ultra for the past year, so I went into watching Teo without any strong expectations Production-wise, it feels like more of the same, but I think Shigenori Tanabe's writing has done a great job with drawing me in so far

I started The Human Vapor expecting something disturbing and bleak, and while I did get that- I was pleasantly surprised to see earnest moments like this sprinkled in throughout the episodes. It's some very welcome levity that doesn't undermine the ongoing stakes.

Nice try Yamazaki, I'm not going to get baited into thinking you'll use a Godzilla film to interrogate any serious questions about collective morality a second time

Finally, "IYOAH" returns
