TB Conf opened with a pre-session on accelerating response towards NSP targets. Prof Ndjeka reflected on the new NTP Plan, while Ingrid called for stronger investment in community-led, evidence-based responses, including peer counselling and TB champions. #SATBConference

On 22 May 2025, community members gathered at the Isivivane Centre for the Know Your Health Awareness Event hosted by Radio Zibonele FM and facilitated by My Zuzu. The event created an important space for learning, dialogue, and health awareness within the community.
Today, our TB Champions shared how motivational interviews led by Phumeza and Goodman helped them confront internal stigma, release self blame, and feel supported throughout their TB treatment journey.
