I do Techpriest stuff IRL, collect ink, watch F-1, Moto GP and ride motorcycles. 03 VFR-800, 22 HD Sporster S, 25 Triumph Rocket 3 GT. US129 The Tail Of The Dragon is my happy place. Former Navy AQ(B)AN, FT(G)2 and FC1.
Had to cut the video down a bit. 4 July 26, Seven Islands State Birding Park, French Broad River Kodak TN. Via Owl Ridge Raptor Center.
Great shot of a solid lineage. I have it's little cousin, 03 VFR-800 my favorite of the current herd.
A little late but this was the pic of the lift I wanted to post but couldn't find at the time.
Nice set up. I have that exact lift, paid for itself the first whole herd service I did. I also recently added a No-Mar tire changer, totally worth it as well. Heard in question, Rocket 3 rear VFR800 rear, Rocket front on the lift for comparison, and the tire changer.
Leo is "fluffy", floofy, food modivated and socially awkward. He has majestic whiskers going on though.
A little additional good news in my area to go along with the other two recent uplifting headlines. To be fair the place has been a desert for over a year now.
For basic care probably not. The hawk on our farm got in the horse trough, which is designed so that animals can get out of. He spent three days with Owl Ridge recovering, we picked him up and released him back on the farm. Day of incident. Day after release. Owl ridge ambassador Astrid.
Got to do a little Cat Cafe therapy with the family today. Scruffy’s Cat Cafe.
Tim, I took the granddaughter to a cat cafe and I think you forgot your hat.
Well once they prove themselves to be bad, it's hard to forget what they look like...'
I was freaking 9 when a network decided to show this on TV late at night. Scared the absolute flock out of me. Trilogy Of Terror 1975.
We got to formally meet all the ambassador birds and a couple of other residents at the Owl Ridge Raptor Center today. owlridge.org/ambassador-b...
Got to see something better than fireworks to celebrate the 250th 4th. American Eagle Foundation and Owl Ridge Raptor Center released Kodak the rescued Bald Eagle.
Guzzi's are great looking and I would absolutely have one given the chance. If your gonna go bigger, don't settle for half measures.... You haven't experienced true time dilation until you have cracked the throttle on an R3.
If it makes a rider happy, disabled or not let them have at it. I don't judge people for what they ride (although some might test me on that), pretty much how they ride. One of the testers in question, and one of the asshats without question. Mr. Hat was ok but the bike ended up being trucked out.
Great looking ride. The guy I bought my 03 VFR800 from in 2010 had an 08(?) Rocket III. That set me on a 15 year path to my 25 R3 GT.... Still have and ride the VFR too. Me and granddaughter making her first MC trip across US 129 The Tail OF The Dragon.
It's impractical by any metric, stoopidly powerful and probably should be illegal to own for anyone under 25. That being said, it is a blast to ride. It's not a cruiser nor was it meant to be, it is a big bore muscle bike. It took me 15+ years from first wanting to actually getting.
Not doing any fireworks until the day it happens. Gonna go full Berlin when it does.
