And with that… the tarot project is complete! I knew I wanted The World to be the last card, so, here it is. Thank you for following along on my descent into insanity.

As my 16th installment in my KH tarot project I present you card number 1, The Magician. This took me a weirdly long time to get right.
If you can hear this image, I’ve done my job right. I could not pick anything but this specific scene for the death tarot. Had to be it.

Tarot cards will continue until morale improves! My morale, specifically. Anyway here’s The Tower, which is one of the ones I had a super clear vision for right away.
This guy! I both felt very strongly that Eraqus was the only choice for this card and didn’t really care very much about drawing a portrait of Eraqus. I think I did okay though, and it was good to practice a different face, lest I get too same face in my usual ways.
10 done! I think I’m committed to the whole set at this point. I could not resist picking the most catastrophically divorced pair in KH for “the lovers”
The moon. This one was fun to draw, the castle that never was sure has a design. I am not an architecture girlie

I’m back with another one! Little Sora and Riku with the meteor shower, a classic.
Okay now that I’ve posted 5 of these, let’s go back to the beginning. I spent soooo long waffling over the light and the floor. Also I needed to draw at least one (1) Sora since he’s in about a quarter of these and I hadn’t drawn him at all yet.
Another one. No deep meaning thoughts here just the haha obviously the vehicle should be the vehicle. Here’s the gummiship for the chariot.
Okay, next up! Namine for The Empress. This is one of the cards I was least sure about, since I don’t really feel any of the ladies in KH are a great fit. In the end, it was between Namine and Aqua, and I didn’t love assigning Aqua to the divine motherhood type role, so weird creation it is.
(Sliding another card across the table) no I’m fine why do you ask. Yeah I definitely have done things other than drawing in the last couple days. I’ve had meals and stuff.
Guess I’m just going to be working on KH tarot forever now since coming up with thoughts and ideas is hard and I have the thumbnails. I haven’t actually drawn Kairi much so I figured I would start with her.
Really thought I’d have some version of this up for the 24th anniversary but no, not even close. Anyway here is the beginning of me working on an an actual version of the first of my tarot card designs, Sora for The Fool. (Yeah I thought about him with Pluto but I have my reasons.)
