Seeing how people…drive…today I don’t think much has changed in the 50 years since he asked this question

It is a revelation to see how much this primitive situation fine-tunes one's awareness behind the wheel. To be as attentive as the typical motorist driving in the sanitized environments of the U.S. would mean certain disaster on the Alaska Highway. Here you pay attention or pay the price. Could it be postulated that the quality of driving increases in direct proportion to the difficulty of the roads?

Hello from Dad’s Suzuki! Every summer, we spent 2-3 weeks camping. Bouncing around Virginia, the north east, and Canada. Maybe this is an extreme example of “small” but small cars do far more for families than people think!

Three white kids standing between a black Suzuki Swift GTi and a tent with a cot in front of it holding 4 personal bags (everything we packed for our 6-week break was brought on the trip), mics other camping gear, cooler, green Coleman camp stove, tv, 4 rolled sleeping bags, three stuffed animals, 4 pillows, and more. We were fine!

It was overcast and the sun was still low in the sky (5:06 am) but my neighbor’s hydrangeas still looked pretty :) #Bloomscrolling

Some hydrangeas in various states of bloom. The fully open ones in the foreground are fluffy in shades of purple-pink. There are also clusters of partially open ones where the outer flowers are pink and the center flowers are a sort of spring green/yellow. There are more of these clusters in the background
