Gigantic cuts coming to Oregon medicaid (OHP). Big yikes. www.opb.org/article/2026...

Goldberg said finding more long-term ways to slow Medicaid’s cost growth is critically important. The cuts to federal funding in HR 1 phase in and get larger over time.

By 2029, the state will need to cut twice as much from its Medicaid budget.

OHA estimates that by then, the size of the funding hole in the state’s budget will double to $868 million.

I have questions

New drugs are often tested in monkeys before they’re given to human participants in clinical trials. For instance, monkeys were critical during the Covid-19 pandemic for testing vaccines and therapeutics. But they’re also an expensive resource, and their numbers are dwindling in the US after China banned the export of nonhuman primates in 2020.

I'm here to say Wonder Man on Disney+ was very good. The Marvel Spotlight productions continue to be excellent. Interesting plot, well-written dialogue, fantastic acting, excellent chemistry between the leads.
