The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (1983) Damn, that girl really be do be leaping through time Watched the Hosoda movie back in April, was curious to see something not trying to be a pseudo-sequel, but I'm just more confused. I guess I should just read the book. I wish I could read😔
Belle (2021) Well, I liked the one scene where they depicted the girls in the school freaking out that she held the popular boy's hand as a Sengoku Era mobile tactics game. Wish there was more stuff like that And where were all the griefers spawning in giant pngs of dongs in the main hub?

Fallen Angels (1995) Really thought this would be about the hitman and his handler, but it was really about this local cryptid that breaks into businesses and forces you to eat Ice Cream, and I think that was the right call
The Plumber (1979) There's a video on Criterion where Ari Aster called this "Peter Weir's The Cable Guy" and I just HAD to see The way it starts with him leering at her panties and joking about being a rapist, and then all he actually does is turn her bathroom into a Jungle Gym. Mad stuff
Roujin Z (1991) Very fun movie about the failures of society to take care of our elderly and the attempt to pawn off the task onto machines. I love Machines trying to move and grow as biological organisms and the faux body horror that results Hell of an ending.
Mystery Wrestling In Your Yard (2026) Short and Sweet, all killer, no filler. The Bone Barn Match gonna be one of my highlights of my year.
Also, very exciting to see her in her natural habitat. You do it, Crocodile Ballerina!
