Hopeless dilettante Picker-up of unconsidered trifles
It's #portfolioday I would love for people to ask me to do stuff for them, but I also have some feelings about work today
I very highly recommend this Gyoza tomato salad chewingthefat.us.com/2024/11/dump...
"don't speak ill of the dead"? Oh well, maybe we can speak Isle of the Dead instead
I found my copy, and it's not particularly helpful with regard to quilting, but on the strength of how much I like it for sewing, I would recommend the companion guide to quilting and applique. Also look at the great 70s 2 colour diagrams www.worldofbooks.com/en-gb/produc...
I recommend the readers digest complete guide to sewing in general. Hmm. This is a photo of it on my table here in Copenhagen - I thought that I had left it in Australia, but it must be somewhere in the house here.
I am lying in bed watching the lightning storm while a cool breeze comes in through the open window. Life is good

A bungee cord got caught in my wheel and tore off the connectors for the hub dynamo, luckily there was still a bit of wire poking out at the breakage point, so I have made new ones out of Lego and brass tube.
Oh yes, it's a favourite; I have this one, but usually have a coffee in the Moomin Haru cup because it's smaller
Big fan of the reflection meeting the transparency in water, wish I could draw it well
