The more chill she feels at the moment, the more drooped down her tail will be. Her tail might also be wagging depending on what she’s feeling.

When she’s feeling particularly loving and wanting to display passive submission, she will roll on her back and have her paws drawn to her body. Her tail may wag and she may playfully whimper, whine and nuzzle.

Many wolves and house dogs are social and love play, and as she is a werewolf, Erma is definitely like this around her family, friends and mate-prospect Connor.

She will do the traditional “play bow” as seen in dogs and wolves. Her tail will be lifted upward and wagging excitedly, she will lower herself and her forepaws will be bent.

She may even have her tongue lolled out, make barks and be frolicking and prancing about.

Her ears will be erect, her tail will be straight up and slightly out, and she will curl and pull back her lips while showing her teeth. She will growl and snarl, and may be crouched if she needs to make an attack.

This would be the aggressor’s cue to, as Tom Hanks once said, “back the fuck off.”

Like regular wolves, Erma has a special body and tail language that she uses on her werewolf form, regardless of whether or not she is in the middle of a mental shift. Since she is also capable of human facial expression in this form, those facial expressions will match her body and tail language. As a result, it’s easy to tell what emotions she’s feeling even when she isn’t talking.
