Damselfly on today's walk. The air was thick with them so I suspect they'd recently hatched.
Took a walk in a bluebell wood today. Bluebells spread very slowly, just a couple of feet every decade. Their bulbs split and form dense clumps but they also spread seeds in a small radius. This slow growth is why the big masses of blue are only found in ancient, untouched woodland 💙
Sky is blue but there is very fine rain in the air just blowing around. I can feel it on my face and if I squint I can see it as it catches the light.
Blackthorn out in full bloom. Should be a bumper crop of sloes later this year.
Had to rush out without dinner. Currently being sustained by these...
