I played soccer from the age of 6 to 16. At some point during that time my mom bought me this team USA Brava sponsor jersey. I can find no information about this jersey online but it remains the only team USA merch I own. I’m 80% sure it was for the USWNT but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My whole personality for the next few weeks is World Cup and art residencies. Fútbol and #printmaking are life until both end (which is coincidentally on the same day) #ArtistInResidence

I got home and discovered a mysterious third(?!) cut on my hand… so definitely not my finest day as a printmaker. But at least I have these cute chameleon bandaids.
Day 3 progress. I cut myself again while carving. I put my hand in the direct path of my tool. Rookie mistake. I blame trying to power through snack time. Low blood sugar and sharp tools are not a good combination. Probably going to call it a day and start sweeping up my mess. #printmaking
Today at the art residency so far: -Cut myself while stropping my tools -Watched some egrets on my lunch break -More carving -Made some aggressively mediocre gelli plate prints to prepare for an upcoming workshop #printmaking

Coming out of my Blue Sky hiatus because the semester is over and now I have more time to be chronically online. I started an artist residency this week and will (maybe) post updates on whatever I work on!
ENHANCE I should really get a prize for how many terrible bird photos I take.
I made posters like this for my thesis show. I think everyone should make signs in this fashion for their communities 😆
