Artists! Quote with your bloody art! 🩸 This Veer-Myn Ratfiend is easily the most disgusting thing I've painted and one of my all-time favourites. A lot of new techniques came together for this one. Last minute, I chopped up a marine and stuck him in the gut mouth, just for that little bit extra.
I like to think of Went The Day Well as a very British version of Born To Fight. But instead of genteel Britannia, it's a brutal martial arts stunt work extravaganza.

Tonight's viewing. Double featured this with Planet Terror, so going from that to this is some major tonal whiplash. I think the opening to this might he hitting especially close to home for me because my dad lived in Tasmania for a while, so I'd be in these character's exact situation.

Tonight's viewing! I've been sitting on this movie for a while, so I thought I'd finally sit down to watch it. I'm glad I did because some of the shots in this film are absolutely beautiful. It's hard to believe it's 70 years old.

Tonight's viewing! Apparently, the new one came out today, wouldn't know. I refuse to watch anything that's mostly people flailing around in front of a green screen for two hours. Map paintings and super composites forever!!
I think the oldest thing I have painted is this Brother Corbulo in original GW lead. And yes, I did paint him just in time for him to end up in the Legends graveyard.
So a while ago I got this stick from a tree in the backyard, and I'm gonna try my hand at making a walking stick out of it. But as you can see, it's had this curve along the length. So I just spent the last hour blasting it with a steam cleaner, and hopefully, that should take care of the bend!

Y'know what video game opinion I don't voice enough? Deus Ex Invisible War is so much better than anyone gives it credit for. Yeah, I get it. It's not as good as the first because of course it fucking wouldn't be. I'm so sick of pretending simplified automatically means terrible by default.
Lords of The Fallen 2014. Some people well and truly went out their way to hate on this game, not realising how much they were coming across and snobs. Deck 13 went from making point-and-clicks and train sims to a dark fantasy soulslike. No shit it was gonna be flawed, you fuckwhits.
Tonight's viewing! Tonight's the night! Finally getting around to watching Deathstalker 2025 (because it was a bitch tracking down a copy!) 10 minutes in and you can tell they cooked with this one. It's got the theme! It's got a ridiculous title drop! It's got THAT sound from Deathstalker 2!
