A celebration of the quirks of South Minneapolis direct from the boost mobile store. Transit enthusiast, shitty graphic design fan, militant pedestrian Also a 7 ft tall humanoid hummingbird
Asking the all powerful Kingfield Neighborhood Association to postpone today’s garden tour to a day where the air is not poison
The equivalent of 14 cigarettes but without looking cool
Harvestposting on main… this is a watermelon gherkin
Pumphouse icecream at 48th and Chicago, being considered for best ice cream shop in America
Is the uptown association planning to close the lake of the isles parkway for the uptown art fair? Aren’t they biggest opponents to closing the parkways to cars, even on a temporary basis?
Looking for honest feedback: did I slightly over plant my garden?
Apparently this is photoshopped. Here’s the original pic
Gently rear ended at a light on Lyndale Avenue today. Thankfully their bumper hit metal and not my leg. It sucks that our road designs and drivers make traveling in anything smaller than an suv risk life and limb.
Leborn, pls. We need this. We spent all out city budget on gucci
Some #BumperStickersOfMinneapolis seen during the cat tour
I had a terrible idea last night and woke up and implemented it. Flag for a racist who hates minneapolis but loves the cat tour:
Hearing reports that as many as 2.5 million people attended @wedge.live’s Wedge Cat Tour today making it the largest single gathering in Minnesota history
I am not very good at crowd size estimates but I would say there were at about 300,000 cat lovers at the Wedge Cat Tour tonight
I have seen people asking why the fates of Lyndale and Hennepin have diverged and there are likely many correct answers but here is one more: To walk from lyndale to hennepin along lake, a person must spend nearly the entire time walking by parking lots or empty fields. So people just don’t.
I am hearing reports that the Upton Mattress Firm has closed. It has long been my opinion that the city should burn this building down and rip up the parking lot and replace it with actual urban buildings. I hope this dream will soon be realized.
